The traditional Japanese Kokeshi Dolls is a perfect example of this simplistic Eastern beauty. The art of making Kokeshi Dolls dates back to the 19th Century. They were originally hand crafted by peasant farmers to be given away as tokens of Love and Friendship.

The true intent of Kokeshi Dolls was paramount in our development of Kimmidoll. Our idea was to create a range of more contemporary characters, each with individual meaning expressing one of "Life's True Values"
